- Small employers that purchase fully insured small group plans can be charged higher premiums, within limits, based on the health, risk, and demographic characteristics of your group. A small employer is a group with 2 to 50 eligible employees. For these small employer groups, Oklahoma limits the difference in premiums and the annual increase that can be charged. For groups with more than 50 workers, Oklahoma does not limit premium variation or increases. If you have questions about your group health insurance premiums, contact the Oklahoma Insurance Department.
