 Mississippi’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program provides free screening services for breast and cervical cancer for the eligible women of Mississippi. Eligible women diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may be eligible for free health coverage through Medicaid for treatment of their condition.

  • The Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program provides qualified woman with free screenings for breast and cervical cancer. Women screened through this program and diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may be eligible for free health coverage through Medicaid which extends throughout the duration of treatment.
  • In order to be eligible for screening through the Mississippi Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, you must meet age and income guidelines and insurance requirements. You must be 45 years of age or older for pap exam, 50 years of age or older for mammogram, or between the ages of 18-44 and have had tubal ligation, hysterectomy, or post menopausal. Additionally, you must be uninsured or underinsured and must not have Medicare.
