- The Michigan Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP), provides a qualified woman with breast and cervical cancer screening at no cost. Women who are screened through this program and diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may be eligible for treatment through Medicaid.
- In order to be eligible for screening through the program, you must be a Michigan resident. In addition, you must be between the ages of 18 and 64 to receive screening for cervical cancer, and between the ages of 40 and 64 to receive screening for breast cancer. You must also have no or limited health coverage, be ineligible for Medicaid or Medicare Part B, and have an income at or below 250% of the federal poverty level. For a family of three, this is an annual income of no more than $42,925.
