Health Insurance Consumer Guides are Back Online!

We are pleased to announce that the Health Insurance Consumer Guides are back on line! Thanks to an emergency grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, we can again make the guides available to the public. Additionally, we will have resources to update 15 of the consumer guides over the summer of 2009. During this brief period, we will also consider options for revising the web site and strategies for finding long run financial support.

We’ve recently published several policy studies in partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Center for American Progress, advocating for better consumer information labeling for health insurance policies. Glad to see that you secured new funding. This site has been most helpful to me inasmuch as I am moving to establish a new business. Availability of guaranteed individual coverage was essential and this site greatly assisted finding states where such coverage was available.
